Christiane F foi membro da banda Sentimentale Jugend , fundada por seu namorado Alex Hacke
(do futuro Einstürzende Neubauten), e ela participou de algumas gravações do grupo.

Em 1981 eles se apresentaram em The Grosse Undergangs Show no Festival der Geniale Dilletanten. O show, segundo dizem,
